Tag Line:

The freedom of truth, before the last liar dies.

Log Lines:

She fears the gun hidden in her father's staircase is

the same weapon that  killed her mother.  In search of

truth, she's thrust into a world of  Mexican

pharmaceutical shell-corporations, Russian human

trafficking, & her father's only true legacy ... lies.

theme/premise: nothing is at it appears.

Attorney Breecie Lemay is bequeathed a legacy of lies amidst the double-standards of D.C. politics.

She's desperate to learn the truth, before the last liar dies.

The third step creaks and in that instant Breecie knows her father has been up to one of his crafty old

habits. She jiggles the board and it lifts about an inch. Sliding her fingers inside, she releases the brass

 latch.

The staircase safe contains two boxes brimming with love letters. Only one is addressed to her mother.

Between the boxes--- the vintage Russian revolver that killed her mother.

Her mission to find the truth careens Breecie into a deceitful world of Mexican pharmaceutical shell-

corporations and Russian human trafficking, but the danger is just as real in her own backyard.

Author's note: Trinidad, Colorado is a real town and widely recognized as a premier destination for world-class SRS. Resident Dr. Stanley Biber, the world-renowned pioneer of sex-change operations, passed away in January of 2006. He maintained a *regular* small-town practice of delivering babies, treating strep, removing tonsils and popping in an occasional replacement hip. He also performed over 5,800 sex-change operations since 1969.  The town mourns the death of a great doctor, mentor and friend.

Interviewing his nurse of some fifteen years, she told me that when he delivered her own child she sighed at the fact she had yet another boy. Dr. Biber jokingly  told hold not to worry. "I can fix that".

Dr. Biber retired in 2003 and sold his practice to one of his former patients.
